Is Schmeichel on the verge of a transfer to an EPL club?
Signing a goalkeeper is not always easy. There are far fewer options available on the open market. Nevertheless, even from EPL clubs there are options. Illan Meslier, Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope, to name a few. Then there are options abroad such as the experienced Timo Horn or better potential Florian Muller.
With two loans coming to an end, we have a chance to change the face at the back for good. A different Dane and a Polish ‘Keeper at his side. On loan Daniel Iversen has impressed immensely, and Jakub Stolarczyk has been developing very well of late.
Iversen now has plenty of experience to be a No. 1 – the question is whether he would improve the side or be a hinderance? To be blunt, the answer is no. The Danish international is not significantly better in short distribution and nor is he a better shot stopper.

That being said, there is no harm in letting our other Dane come through the ranks and prove me wrong.
