Welcome to the Foxes of Leicester end of season awards for Leicester City stars, where we will discuss classic awards plus others with some pretty much summing up our season. Let’s start with some novelty categories and then look at the most significant.

Leicester City’s Funniest Player

Jamie Vardy – I think we all knew who this award was going to be, just by looking at the name of the award. The Sheffield-born striker wins it by a country mile for being a cheeky chappy and an all-round legend. Even after being out through injury Vardy has still kept spirits high, even players have opened up on how funny he is.

Most improved player

Daniel Amartey – the Ghanaian defender takes this as although he might not be the best skill wise he has come a long way since the start of the season and as he’s grown in confidence it’s shown in his performances, looking more and more confident on the ball. Amartey has made 25 appearances for Leicester this season including five clean sheets, 90.6% pass completion, 444 passes forward and 88 backwards.
