Hopefully for Leicester City supporters the Youri Tielemans transfer saga will soon be resolved, as Fabrizio Romano provides an update on a possible Premier League switch for the Belgium midfielder.

If you saw any of the comments from fans on official LCFC social media accounts concerning Tielemans over the past six months, many of them were actually negative. At first this was hard to take as the player is a more shy and retiring soul. Not to mention the mere fact that his wonder-goal won the Foxes a maiden FA Cup trophy only half a year before that time.

However, as the past season developed and the Red Devils international produced an increasing amount of inept, unsatisfactory or even plain uninterested performances, much of the Blue Army began to lose patience with the 25-year-old. While other, more measured people at least understood the amplified vocal element of the faithful’s frustrations.

Basically, many of us still love the truly talented midfield man, yet consider offloading him whilst his price is high the best outcome. Especially being as his contract expires at the end of the subsequent campaign – therefore the athlete could potentially leave for free.

That eventuality would be a catastrophic transfer scenario for Leicester, on account of reinvestment in personnel of that calibre. In addition to continuing the legacy and process of their business model which enables the King Power club to challenge the heavyweights without the budget.

Will Youri Tielemans exit Leicester City?

Yes, it is extremely likely that the one-time star of the Foxes shall depart. Following Fabrizio Romano’s input on the subject, we can fully expect Tielemans to go.

But which side will the former AS Monaco asset join? Well, he could select from numerous teams just below the most upper echelon: Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal etcetera. Regarding to the Gunners, Romano claims that Tielemans is Mikel Arteta’s number one transfer priority.
