Leicester City must now be feeling the after-effects of failing to score points in their latest away trip to Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.

Questions have piled up regarding the quality and mentality of this team and whether Brendan Rodgers is the right man to lead this outfit. The whole Wesley Fofana transfer saga is another blot that has portrayed the manager as incapable of controlling a player’s whims.

The lack of control has been a real problem, and the failure to keep the young Frenchman poses the danger of instigating future dramas for others with a similar mindset. Other players might leave before the transfer window closes with no clear indication of any reinvestment in strengthening the squad.

There were plenty of positives from the Chelsea game compared to the previous ones as the Foxes were desperate till the end to salvage something out of this one. But it’s not working out, as the side is slowly becoming unmotivated, having not tasted the joy of a victory for a long time.

Perhaps Leicester City was robbed of a stalemate result by chalking off a goal. The replays present a legitimate case of a big team getting favors at a smaller one’s expense.
