Leicester City have little time left in the transfer window to strengthen. Here are our picks for the top three perfect transfers to finish the window.

With £75m upfront coming in from the Wesley Fofana to Chelsea transfer, there is at least half of that available for movement in the market. With only three days to go on top of that, a little panic buying could be in order.

Of course, there are a few links towards central defenders – as should be expected – and wide players. These are the primary gaps in the squad at this point. Especially after another set of transfer u-turns from Brendan Rodgers, with Boubakary Soumare remaining and Dennis Praet available for sale.

What matters for each player is their positioning, flexibility, stylistic preference, prolific nature, and – importantly – their transfer value. The King Power club should not be looking to splurge, although there is a definite requirement to bring in players. We shall go through three choices in turn.

Leicester City’s next French CB

My first target is Maxence Lacroix. The Foxes have been linked to him as an interest, although we know nothing of any concrete or formal discussions being undertaken. Nevertheless, this French defender would be the perfect addition to the side.
