That is without getting to the fact Ward barely makes any saves at all, due to his poor positioning. Furthermore, he is uncomfortable with the ball at his feet which has put LCFC in trouble multiple times. Unfortunately, Brendan Rodgers seems to be happy with Danny Ward as the number one if his comments are to be taken at face value. Even so, fans will hope he Daniel Iversen will be given a chance as soon as possible. Surely he can only perform better.

3. Body language and Brendan Rodgers

In Leicester City’s last game against Brighton and Hove Albion, it was concerning to see LCFC players arguing with each other on multiple occasions, each blaming the other for their errors. This is a far cry from the team spirit of the 2015/16 squad and goes some way to show the malaise that Rodgers has allowed to creep into the club.

On the other hand, Brendan Rodgers has gone on record to emphasise that the squad are together and unified. It certainly doesn’t look like it, but the manager has increasingly lost his credibility in his interviews. Although the supporters will try to hopefully support the tea, if Leicester were to lose again, one would imagine it would provoke a mutinous reaction from the away support. A defeat would make it six on the spin, and it would surely be game over for the Northern Irishman.
