These past few months have made it hard for Leicester City fans to find positives with the club. However, there are things to look forward to this upcoming season. With the team now playing in the Championship, the opposition will be easier than it was in the Premier League. Younger players are going to have an easier time developing while older players are going to have big seasons because of their past experience.

No matter how you look at it, certain players on the foxes are going to shine this season in the Championship. With the summer transfer window just beginning and so much mystery surrounding the East Midlands team, it is unknown who will still be on this team and who will be signed. With what the squad has at the moment, here are three players who will shine in the second tier.

Jamie Vardy

One last season of Jamie Vardy being the best striker in the league is a thought that gives me goosebumps. Vardy had an underwhelming Premier League campaign where he scored three goals in 37 appearances. However, his style of play will guarantee him more goals in the Championship.

The defenders aren’t as smart with the ball as they are in the top tier of football. The 36-year-old loves to press defenders when they have the ball. They will make mistakes and set up opportunities for Vardy to get the ball in the back of the net.
