An expert on Leicester City Football Club has discussed the position of the Foxes potentially signing a new striker this summer. Only if one of the current strikers, such as Patson Daka, leaves the east Midlands side will another centreforward be bought. That’s the view of Leicestershire Live’s main LCFC correspondent Jordan Blackwell. Meanwhile, there was an arrival on Filbert Way on Thursday, as Foxes of Leicester talk Arjan Raikhy.

With transfer rumours and speculation circling around the heads of many Leicester players, Blackwell has illuminated the Blue Army on one particular Foxes outcast. The writer says that City might perhaps still sign a striker this summer.

However, the journalist also explained that only other movements would enable that chase. If Daka is sold, the Leicestershire team would possibly try to capture a new centreforward. Although, Blackwell admitted that even if the Zambian leaves, a separate attacker may not join.

Leicester City sign former Aston Villa midfielder Arjan Raikhy

The King Power club have reportedly acquired the services of Arjan Raikhy. Formerly a Villa ‘wonderkid’ by all accounts, the 20-year-old is likely to go into Leicester’s development squad. That side is now known as Leicester City Under-21s after switching back from the U23s for some reason, as far as I am aware. Yet, the midfielder comes highly rated from the west Midlands.

Raikhy’s dad, Rav, told Sky Sports of a wonderful journey with the Villans, which has ultimately now come to an end. In addition to that, the father is proud for his son to go to the one-time Premier League champions. Furthermore, Raikhy senior said that it is time for the next chapter, along with proclaiming the move an exciting one which allows kids the chance to dream.
