Foxes of Leicester detail injury updates for Leicester City stars, along with respective potential return dates. This includes news from Enzo Maresca on Conor Coady, Dennis Praet and Kasey McAteer.

Following the timely conquering of Cardiff City on Saturday, the Foxes must wait another week for their subsequent match versus Rotherham United. LCFC head north to play Rotherham on August 26 at AESSEAL New York Stadium. Leicester are currently second in the Championship with a perfect record of three wins in three outings. Ipswich Town are actually above their rivals for the second division title as they have conceded one fewer goal; both teams have scored only five this season.

The Leicestershire outfit have a few injuries at present. The main issue is arguably the absence of new signing Conor Coady. The Englishman unfortunately injured his foot just before the start of the term; sadly he won’t feature for another month. Dennis Praet will be assessed prior to the Millers fixture. Kasey McAteer might be fit for the weekend; he’s more likely to return against Tranmere Rovers or Hull City.

Leicester City reach agreement for latest winger signing

The east Midlands team have supposedly struck a deal to sign Yunus Akgun from Galatasaray. The 23-year-old is said to be ready to put pen to paper on a five-year contract. However, the move strangely involves a loan at the start with an obligatory buy clause; a €10 million obligation arises at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

As personal terms have already been agreed, confirmation could apparently come at any time. Akgun is a senior international with Turkey; the wingman has played five times for his country and netted on one of those occasions. He made his way through the Turkish side’s youth setup before turning professional with the club in 2018. The preferred reported target of the King Power outfit is Jesurun Rak-Sakyi of Crystal Palace.
