According to a report, clubs from Saudi Arabia and the English Premier League want to sign Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho. Foxes of Leicester‘s thoughts as arguably the King Power team’s main centreforward is courted for a transfer.

Iheanacho is seemingly wanted by clubs in Europe’s top five leagues and by big spending Saudi sides. And I am not surprised at all: the Nigeria international has noticeably grown into his peripheral role at LCFC.

In the meantime he has shown that he should be more regularly involved and gone so far as to possibly become Leicester’s first-choice striker. Let’s hope the ‘real possibility‘ of him leaving during the current window is mere speculation.

Leicester City head coach Enzo Maresca speaks about Foxes legends and his best two guys, Jamie Vardy and Marc Albrighton

Maresca is clearly thrilled with Vardy and Albrighton; the Italian believes that the veteran pair can be fine role models for the upcoming Foxes starlets. They have both been great examples on and off the pitch in general for Leicester City Football Club’s youth over the years already, to be fair.

The LCFC manager made some complimentary comments on the two Englishmen following victory over Cardiff City, which came just in the nick of time thanks to Cesare Casadei’s last-minute goal. Vardy’s own introduction came not a moment too soon because he was involved in pestering the Cardiff defence as the ball trickled towards Casadei to blast into the roof of the net. Albrighton was brought on with a mere three minutes to go until the final whistle.

Speaking to media, Maresca said that even with minimal time in games, like 10 or 20 minutes here and there, the ageing duo continuously show how impactful they are. In addition to that quote, the former Manchester City coach claims that the slightly fortunate result transpired by design as opposed to luck.
