The Sky Bet Championship is back on Friday with Hull City versus Bristol City. Leicester supporters must wait until the weekend to see their currently victorious Foxes back in action. Rotherham entertain LCFC at AESSEAL New York Stadium; the south Yorkshire side are in the league’s relegation zone at present.

Prior to the contest, Maresca detailed the fitness of his squad. Thankfully versatile young winger Kasey McAteer is back in contention to feature after an injury. There is an apparent ‘done deal’ to inform you of. Kristiansen is now leaving the east Midlands after only a short spell with the Leicestershire club. The Dane is not in Enzo Maresca’s plans and will now exit. Basically, the former was not deemed suitable to play the dual role of fullback and midfield pivot.

The left-back is currently tipped to sign with Bologna of pinnacle Italian division, Serie A. The ex-Copenhagen man leaves on a loan deal, but there is an option to buy. Fabrizio Romano claims that the agreement will be completed in around two to three days time.

After only approximately half a season as a Fox and some eye-catching, bullish early performances in a blue shirt, I feel the 20-year-old is moving on far too soon. However, I totally understand the situation from every angle and wish the young Danish star well. Hopefully his temporary time away is so successful that he is kept at LCFC and used in some capacity next season or even in the New Year.
