Yunus Akgun. The on-loan winger was anonymous for the most part. His game wasn’t helped by being played out of position. He is better out wide but was asked to play Dewsbury-Hall’s role. Replaced after 57 minutes by the Shepshed-born midfielder, he will surely have better games in a Leicester shirt. 5

Jason McAteer. The academy graduate continues to impress and is rapidly becoming a fan’s favourite. He worked tirelessly, always looking to get behind the defence as well as filling in at full back when necessary. His goal topped-off a fine display. 8

Kelechi Iheanacho. A very typical performance from the Nigerian front man. At times he was sublime, at other times easily dispossessed or making runs into a cul-de-sac. To be fair, Kelechi was very tightly marked, often illegally much to his frustration. Came up with the goods though by dispatching the penalty with aplomb. 7

Stephy Mavididi. The winger always looked the player most likely to make a breakthrough. A constant threat to the Norwich defence, it was no surprise that his run led to the penalty and the first goal. He almost scored himself soon after, placing the ball just past the far post. 8

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Brought on to shore up a midfield that was running out of steam, he put in a typically energetic performance providing an assist for McAteer’s goal. 6

Wilfred Ndidi. Also came on to make sure of the victory. The Nigerian showed glimpses of his new-found attacking prowess, although one hurriedly-taken shot which sailed high and wide brought a ‘that’s the Wilf we know’ comment from a Foxes fan in the crowd. 6

Jamie Vardy. The Leicester City legend came on for a tiring Iheanacho after 68 minutes. He put himself about in usual fashion. His link-up play has undoubtedly improved under Maresca’s guidance. 6

Abdul Fatawu and James Justin came on for the last ten minutes or so, which is not enough time to warrant a rating.
