There is apparently now a better situation and atmosphere around Leicester City Football Club. One Foxes star has admitted that a "good feeling" is now prevalent at King Power Stadium. This comes after fans (surely along with the squad at large as well) were very worried about the state of affairs on Filbert Way. To be fair, things were looking pretty bad. If decent recruits fail to arrive, problems shall remain.
However, a new manager can be like a breath of fresh air for a struggling team. That's if talent exists among the ranks, as it does at LCFC. The chosen boss can breathe relevant, different and positive ideas into a group. And it appears that Marti Cifuentes has done this for the East Midlanders. Let's hear what was said, and predict what is likely next in Leicestershire upon return from their Austrian training camp.
Why things were so bad
Unfortunately Leicester still face a potentially devastating blow to their promotion bid. That issue could arise in the form of an apparent 6-12 point deduction at the beginning of the season; or at a later stage.
In addition to that possible measure, the Foxes have depleted funds at the moment. So much so that The King Power International Group are ostensibly facing bankruptcy. This development has impacted the team, its confidence and strength for a good while now.

Jordan Ayew may ironically benefit from former head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy's exit, and the relegation to the Championship. The ex-Crystal Palace attacker could find himself involved more often in the lower league.
Ayew netted the only goal and winner against Zalaegerszegi in Saturday's friendly match. First of all, the Ghana National Team representative spoke of his desire to improve his own game. Secondly, he revealed the mood among his teammates:
"We all have a good feeling about him (Cifuentes), but of course it’s only been a couple of days, so we need more time for him to get to know us better and for us to understand his ways.
“That’s why this time is so important to build those bonds and get to know each other."
