Almost every single aspect of Leicester City Football Club is changing or up for negotiation this summer. Sadly, the only department at King Power Stadium which isn't likely to be changed is the board.
Chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha (known as Top) has committed himself to the club, kind of. He said 'he'll try' when the Foxes Trust representatives enquired post-relegation. Neither is chief football officer Jon Rudkin expected to depart; he is generally loathed by LCFC's Blue Army fan base but has clung onto his role on Filbert Way.
Rudkin is also potentially at fault for a chasm, or even figurative civil war at Leicester. Former chief executive officer Susan Whelan was supposedly eased out via Rudkin's power in Leicestershire, which will hopefully wain soon enough!
More worryingly, many expect that the then-director of football was at fault for Jamie Vardy leaving, and not wanting to return in a playing capacity. Elsewhere, players young and old will change, along with fresh faces arriving to replace them and, with any luck, bolster the ranks.
The division is now different, with City in League One for the upcoming campaign. Even executives and backroom staff are altering. Kevin Davies is now the CEO; ex-footballer Steve Morison is now working with the Academy.
Meanwhile new head coach Russell Martin has appointed former Aston Villa man Conor Hourihane to the coaching team with Rhys Owen. However, some things don't change, with club legend Andy King happily kept at Seagrave.
Leicester City personnel return to summer training and other depart the Foxes for good
There were elder statesman, so to speak, among the group. Hamza Choudhury, Stephy Mavididi, Luke Thomas, Stephy Mavididi, Oliver Skipp and Bobby De Cordova-Reid were spotted.
Martin has, as a matter of fact, begun his preseason training sessions for those available Foxes. His modus operandi was also outlined alongside dogma and doctrine for the new season. Young players noticed in practice so far in offseason are as follows: Bade Aluko, Kevon Gray, Louis Page, Jake Evans Jayden Joseph, Henry Cartwright, Sammy Braybrooke, Will Alves and Tom Wilson-Brown.
