Cifuentes must stop making this Leicester team change as issues arise

As we approach the end of December, Leicester City as a club and a playing team are in turmoil if you ask me. One or two wins and a draw here and there merely masked the mess the Foxes are in!

Behind the scenes our owner, Aiyawatt (Khun Top) Srivaddhanaprabha, appears to have run LCFC into the ground. In addition to the terrible state we find ourselves in at the moment, a points deduction could send the East Midlands outfit tumbling down the English Football League Championship table. As a matter of fact, if we pick up a few more losses and then incur a 9-12 point withdrawal - Leicester could find themselves in the tier two relegation zone. Shocking!

Some of the results attributed to City (including those strange, individual halves of football) are totally unacceptable for an organisation which supposedly has designs on re-entering the Premier League. Not to mention aiming to stabilise in the world's most competitive footballing competition. For now, manager Marti Cifuentes can't even instil any form of consistency into his men.

Though statistically, making one alteration for every midweek match harms progress. I would therefore advocate for the Catalan gaffer to ditch the process of withdrawing captain Ricardo Pereira at right back and replacing him with midfielder Hamza Choudhury.

Marti Cifuentes should definitely reconsider this regular Leicester City team change as issues constantly arise

Back in 2019/20, Ricardo sustained a cruciate ligament tear. A hamstring problem occurred the following year. He subsequently had an achilles tendon rupture.

Reoccurring muscle and hamstring injuries disrupted the Portuguese's involvement in further campaigns. So you can see why Cifuentes treats the 32-year-old delicately.

However, Ricardo appears fully fit now, and the good of the team and club takes precedence. Besides, City suffer when auxiliary defender Choudhury starts. Since Ricardo became available to play 90 minutes in late August - Leicester are yet to win when Choudhury is in the starting XI instead.
