Cifuentes should drop this player & replace with 90k-a-week man

One or two quality footballers within a talented squad will always be in and out of the team. Not to mention that on various occasions, they will find themselves totally out of the side. And they may not even feature from the substitute's bench. In fact, you could argue that a manager actually needs to have this problem or dilemma on any top roster. Competition. Drive. The choicest choices.

And, believe it or not, Leicester City Football Club actually have this conundrum or concern at the moment. The Foxes may well be in the Championship, yet someone like myself could definitely argue that the East Midlanders have a host of Premier League-grade players as assets. Hopefully regaining their EPL status will enable the King Power outfit to retain those current stars - and even add a few more!

Though are any ballers, who find themselves out of Marti Cifuentes' plans at present, who should potentially be reevaluated by the former Queens Park Rangers head coach? I would say possibly yes.

One example is probably ex-Tottenham Hotspur man Harry Winks. Winks is out of the side at the moment. While a defensively-minded midfielder City supporters aren't generally too keen on starts games. Should Cifuentes drop the unwanted player and replace him with the experience and apparent class of 90k-a-week Winks?

Leicester City boss Marti Cifuentes might perhaps omit Oliver Skipp and replace him with Harry Winks

Cifuentes must like Skipp; more than Leicester fans seem to, anyway. That's because the Catalan has started Skipp in all but one match this season.

Yet there is an obvious shout for the ex-Spurs men to swap roles: Skipp relegated to the bench, whilst Winks is reinstated in the starting lineup.

That is the clear preference of once Arsenal squad member Adrian Clarke. Clarke is now a pundit; he has a reasonable suggestion for Cifuentes:

"Harry Winks – I mean, how does Harry Winks not play?

“Harry Winks for me is just phenomenal in the Championship; he was the last time they were in it.

“He should be playing ahead of Skipp; there is no doubt in my mind and now he has not moved - use him, for goodness sake, use him."
