Jamie Vardy is Leicester City Football Club's most famous and successful athlete of all-time. The former England and Fleetwood Town centre forward left King Power Stadium in 2025; he is no longer an LCFC player, difficult as that is for the Blue Army fan base to accept.

Though Vardy remains on Leicester supporters' minds and in their collective hearts, I'm sure. So much so that sites designed for the faithful like ours still follow the veteran talisman's every move. At present, the 38-year-old is playing for Cremonese in Italy.

Unfortunately the striker's start to footballing life in hasn't really gone to plan in mainland Europe. Vards has suffered an injury, meaning he missed matches. Vardy has also failed to score for the Gray and Reds so far, in spite of his usual spirit in trying.

However Vardy's manager, Davide Nicola, insists his player is helping the attack and is firmly in his plans. Yet today we are focusing on an aspect of the ex-Three Lions star's life which is on track: his and his wife Rebekah's seemingly fruitful media careers.

Details of Leicester City icon Jamie Vardy's TV series revealed by assumed insider and Foxes Premier League title-winner Danny Simpson

Outlet GOAL conducted an 'exclusive' interview with the retired footballer recently. Simpson claims audiences will be entertain by 'great character' Vardy. I would certainly agree with that valid assessment.

Sadly Simpson couldn't reveal the release date of the upcoming programme. The once top flight full back for Newcastle United and the Foxes said the series could be filmed over a couple of years in the Lombardy region.

The former defender, aged 38, believes the Vardys' new lifestyle and chapter in a different country is a fascinating prospect. 'Simmo' was actually surprised that an EPL club didn't attempt to sign his one-time teammate:

"Very surprised that nobody took him and took a punt, knowing that he would get you, for me, 10 goals and again be a mentor to other players."
