Obviously everyone appears to be overly aware of Leicester City's financial and restrictive problems. Essentially the Foxes must sell in order to buy - or even balance their accounting books in general. So those of us in the Blue Army are more than prepared for one or two of our favourite players to exit. The pair continuously mentions in that regard are attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss and goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.

Although, an unexpectedly promising report emerged on the man from Denmark's future earlier this week. The support will be pleased to know that one club supposedly eyeing the LCFC No.1 have moved on to another target. Leicester supporters would be particularly overjoyed along with buoyant to retain someone of Hermansen's quality, especially when he was tipped to go.

However, the same can perhaps not be said for the Morocco international. From what we see and hear in mainstream media, with varying degrees of trust, the playmaker could well be on his way out of King Power Stadium. Possibly the most talented Fox at present, El Khannouss has a few admirers.

The potential suitors include Leeds United, who have apparently directly contacted the East Midlands outfit about purchasing the 21-year-old. In addition to the Whites, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur are said to hold respective interests in El Khannouss.

Disappointing news for Leicester City bosses and fans amid confirmation star wants to leave

Journalist Ben Jacobs has the latest on the former Genk man. Jacobs is typically fairly reliable regarding City updates. So what did he say here?

"Leeds United are the only club in the Premier League that have made a formal inquiry, but West Ham and Tottenham have considered doing so. Relatively easy deal to get done. You’ll see some reports out there saying that Leicester want a fee in excess of £25 million. That’s not true to my understanding. Bilal El Khannouss has a relegation release clause which can be triggered for just €26 million. So that’s a deal at around £22 million. Player wants a move. He wants to stay in the Premier League"

Basically, the reporter claims El Khannouss wishes to depart Filbert Way. Sadly. Furthermore, and worryingly, Jacobs declares that the player has a low seeming £22 million release clause. Not to mention that the footballer would like to remain playing in the Premier.
