Some Leicester City fans are worried about losing certain players over the New Year period. Obviously there are fewer Foxes to count as outstanding or highly sought after on Filbert Way these days. Yet two or three absolutely class footballers still exist in the LCFC squad.
Considering the quality of the East Midlanders' roster for a moment, it is very simple to tell that reinforcements are required at King Power Stadium. But we can't cound on our chairman, Aiyawatt (Khun Top) Srivaddhanaprabha, for investment at the moment. Clearly, director of football Jon Rudkin can also be blamed for the odd position the LE2 outfit are presently in.

Nevertheless, and thanks to problems stemming from the hierarchy, the recruitment department ran by Martyn Glover hasn't provided enough talent in our ranks. As I say, Glover can't be blamed entirely for an overall low standard because higher-ups are seemingly at fault.

However, we are not focusing on performance, the LCFC bosses nor results in this instance. This piece doesn't even concern hypothetically signing new stars or otherwise, either. On this occasion we are assessing the latest reports on the most valuable assets amongst the side and if they are safe when the January or summer transfer markets open.
Superclubs supposedly eye up Leicester City starlet Jeremy Monga with transfer speculation rife
Potentially inaccurate along with incorrect talk of Monga being available to poach on the cheap swirls. But, I for one, am not bothered, concerned or surprised about these rumours in the City sphere.

And I can easily inform you of the reason for my indifference. Naturally, it would be unbelievably annoying if Monga was stolen away for a pittance. But, according to Rob Tanner of The Athletic, that can't happen simply.

The 16-year-old's contract will reportedly automatically become a professional deal when he becomes 17. Meaning LCFC can demand high fees or would be entitled to huge compensation. City's other top winger, Abdul Fatawu is arguably more likely to depart.
