The Foxes' promotion forecast has suffered a battering. A recent delve into the world of Supercomputers has given the East Midlands outfit's Blue Army fan base pause for thought. If only the prediction wasn't, ironically, all too predictable. In the meantime, accusations have been levelled at the LCFC players.
Are they as invested in what's good for the side and the organisation as we are? Right on cue, head coach Marti Cifuentes has insisted that the Leicester City Football Club squad does in fact care about the fans and their direction and plight.
Fans accuse Foxes plays of not fully caring about club
I am going to be bluntly honest here, because there are a few things that former and current Leicester footballers need to hear. You are not bigger than the badge! We love our club and trust you to be very well-paid and help grow our standing. Your celebrity, wealth and responsibility makes this more than just a job!
On the whole over about a five year period roughly, half the squad if not more were just here in theory. Many were not fully committed to the cause. I won't name and shame, but over 50 per cent of the contemporary starting lineup seem like they'd like to be elsewhere.
Well, us supporters would prefer the embarrassments to be somewhere else too! That way we can replace them with dedicated recruits or youth products in order to reclaim our club.
I'm not the only fan questioning athlete commitment. Cifuentes has been addressing feelings like those I just expressed, as well as an awkward meeting with City's loyal away support:
"It’s not easy for the players. They care. I’m with them all of the weeks. I see how they train. This group has made a very positive change through the past three months from what I see daily at Seagrave.Leicester Mercury
“I’m sure everybody is suffering and nobody is happy about this. It’s my job to help them to get results and get their confidence back to perform at the level they can perform, because there’s definitely a lot of good players in this squad."
Leicester City promotion forecast suffers battering
Following a particularly lacklustre week, in which City managed to lose two away games and draw at home in anticlimactic fashion, the King Power outfit find themselves in a wildly disappointing 10th Championship position.

Predicted points - 70."
As you can imagine, this desperate inadequacy has led to the Foxes losing momentum and positive expectation already. In fact, automatic promotion turns into a Playoff place according to Artificial Intelligence.
