Fatawu slams ref & opponent as Leicester settle starlet's future

Today (Thursday, October 23) there are two specific Leicester City-related stories I would love to discuss with the Blue Army. First of all, we have an unhappy and rather outspoken Fox. I will detail why Abdul Fatawu is annoyed at the moment. Not to mention why, even if he is correct and entitled to make a point, he should refrain.

The Ghana international slammed the referee from the unacceptable Hull City loss. In addition to that, Fatawu criticised a direct opponent on social media for what he deemed a dangerous foul which was not called by the officials. Is the winger being soft or reaching here? Or is he righteous in this instance?

In the meantime, the King Power club have finally settled some important in-house business. One very promising starlet has received a maiden professional LCFC contract. Luckily, the player in question's immediate future appears to be firmly on Filbert Way. The supporters will be delighted with this news; considering our prospects are particularly impressive. The organisation is not in a good place at present, so this is a timely boost.

Abdul Fatawu disappointed with refereeing decisions and defender's tackle

Below this paragraph is an Instagram post from Fatawu. He takes aim at the ref, as well as Tigers left back Akin Famewo. The former believed Famewo could have injured him.

However, many users on X (formerly Twitter) consider Fatawu to be incorrect in his assessment. The consensus was reached even though a photograph of a slightly injured foot was shown. The Ghanaian must now focus on performing - and not incidental wastes of time.

Leicester City contract update for Jake Evans

Great news for Leicester! Evans is a senior Fox of sorts now. He's another up-and-coming baller who has external admirers. Therefore we are pleased with this one.

"Northampton-born Evans has been part of the club's academy set-up since the under-9s."
