Standout Leicester City star Abdul Fatwau has been talking about his phenomenal goal against Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon. The Ghana National Team representative is known to be a rather special player, yet this striker from approximately 65 yards is an almost unfathomable achievement.

As a matter of fact, the finish is said to be the farthest ever scored in the English Football League Championship. Wow. A simple stunning feat from the ultra-talented 21-year-old, who actually practices this unreal shot. In addition to hearing what the wingman had to say about his relative moment of greatness, which should see him win the EFL C'ship Goal of the Season accolade if not a Puskás Award, we have more.

Sammy Braybrooke has been wowing supporters in Wales whilst on loan there. The up-and-coming Foxes midfielder is turning out for League Two side Newport County at the moment. And, as I say, he is winning praise and New fans galore. Braybrooke, also aged 21, made a request of LCFC recently. To that end, manager Marti Cifuentes answered the plea in his latest press conference. Let's learn what occurred.

Foxes head coach Marti Cifuentes reveals Leicester City's loan transfer intentions for the New Year

I would suspect that Leicester fans can expect one or two additions in January upon the market reopening. City are tremendously unlikely to buy any players, yet free transfer and temporary options are available to the East Midlands side whom must be careful.

LCFC are linked with a few footballers at present; you can access and read our thoughts on those links by clicking here. But today (Monday, December 15), we are learning of opposing business regarding Braybrooke:

"Marti Cifuentes has hinted that Sammy Braybrooke won’t be recalled to plug a gap in Leicester City’s midfield amid doubts around Harry Winks’ future."

Abdul Fatawu on that goal

It appears that Fatawu is beginning to realise his potential - with aplomb. The only problem there is whether or not the winger will ultimately remain at King Power Stadium and for how long. But what did he say about the Ipswich lob?

"I always try this from long range," Fatawu told BBC Radio Leicester.

"It's good that it went in today and I feel amazing.

"When I hit it, I didn't have any doubts...

"I was just waiting for it," he said.

"I have scored a couple [of long-range goals] but this is different. I think this is the best one."
