Join us in previewing a Premier League Midlands derby. On Sunday it's Nottingham Forest versus Leicester City at the City Ground. Along with our thoughts on the match, there are predictions as well as two potential team lineups to discuss.

Of course, the visitors have already been demoted from the English top flight down to the Championship for the second successive time. Meanwhile the home side's form has drastically derailed during their fight for Champions League qualification.

Can the Foxes cause an upset versus the Tricky Trees with only three EPL fixtures remaining? Let's get to it.

Nottingham Forest vs Leicester City: Preview, predicted lineups and predictions

Leicester manager Ruud van Nistelrooy may tinker with his starting lineup and give opportunities to young players and fringe personnel. While Nuno EspĂrito Santo's squad's aim is surely to be as strong as possible for the LCFC clash.

This insight potentially makes the Forest XI easier to predict than City's. Stars of the Garibaldis such as Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White haven't been performing of late. The two came in for fan criticism recently - but both should start against the King Power outfit.

Injury-wise, Callum Hudson-Odoi is out for Forest. Murillo will be assessed; Eric Moreira is a serious doubt to feature. Van Nistelrooy has five senior stars out, and two exhiled.

The supposedly undesirable pair are Jannik Vestergaard and Harry Winks. Abdul Fatawu, Stephy Mavididi, Mads Hermansen, Ricardo Pereira and Bobby De Cordova-Reid all remain unavailable. Facundo Buonanotte is available again.

Possible Nottingham Forest XI

Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Willy Boly, Williams; Sangare, Dominguez; Gibbs-White, Anderson, Elanga; Wood.

Potential Leicester City XI

Stolarczyk; Thomas, Faes, Coady, Justin; Ndidi, Soumare; Ayew, El Khannouss, McAteer; Vardy.

Match outcome forecast

Anything but a win for the Nottinghamshire club is unforeseeable here. Although I wish I didn't have to admit that fact.
