Former Leicester City star praises “clever” Steve Cooper transfer

Leicester City conducted some good business in the summer transfer window. A former Fox has praised Steve Cooper for one signing in particular.
Leicester City has been through a rollercoaster of emotions this season. The Foxes have been rather inconsistent, but this is the nature of playing your first season back in the Premier League.
Of all the teams expected to be relegated this season, Leicester was never within the top three candidates. So, playing their cards right, they could remain safe for another season.
Steve Cooper just needs to put together some winning momentum. Before the East Midlands derby last week, the Foxes did collate a two game win streak. Now, it is a case of building that up again.

In the recent 5-2 loss against Man United in the EFL Cup, Sky Sports commentator and former Leicester City player Courtney Sweetman-Kirk said that Jordan Ayew was a really clever summer signing for Leicester. The comments were relayed by Caught Offside.
In her own words, Sweetman-Kirk said: “I think Ayew has actually been a really clever signing for Leicester... Initially maybe a few raised eyebrows but you think about the experience he’s got in the Premier League. He’s already popped up with a few important goals. He works ever so hard for the team as well.”
It is true that Jordan Ayew has surprised many. I can even hold my hands in the air and say that I've been pleasantly surprised by Ayew's start to life at the King Power Stadium.
Ayew's talent goes without mentioning. After all, he would not have been an established Premier League professional for this amount of time if he had no talent.
However, what has struck Leicester City fans the most about the attacker is his willingness to go all out for the team. He has been an engine in the front-line whenever he's played, showing an incredible work rate in all three thirds when required.
Despite Leicester losing by a humbling scoreline at Old Trafford, Jordan Ayew raised a few eyebrows. He was the best player in Leicester blue, long may it continue.
