With changes on the horizon at King Power Stadium, we are wondering how the Leicester City starting XI could perhaps look in preseason. The Championship beckons City, as you will know. And a probable managerial swap will have the team playing differently. The side will definitely look quite different as well, especially without Jamie Vardy. Other prominent or well-known players could follow the striker out.

However, the slim chance of Leicester actually signing a few quality players due to Profit and Sustainability issues is important. That factor probably means up-and-coming Foxes will more than likely be handed opportunities to impress their head coach (whoever that is) and the Blue Army. Which youths are we expecting to be involved at King Power Stadium in 2025/26? That's if LCFC can keep their prised prospects as assets. And how may the East Midlands outfit line-up if a separate boss gives youth a chance?

This is how Leicester City could line-up for friendlies or for part of next season if new gaffer gives youth opportunites

First of all, let's assume the core of the team morphs somewhat beginning with the backline. No.1 Goalkeeper Mads Hermansen is expected to depart Leicestershire. Luckily Jakub Stolarczyk is available and seemingly proficient enough to take over.

Speculation states that Wout Faes, Conor Coady and Victor Kristiansen might all leave LCFC. While that would be a hit to the senior part of the roster, I was thoroughly underwhelmed by the trio last season. Jannik Vestergaard recently committed himself.

Wilfred Ndidi is potentially on the move; Oliver Skipp, Harry Winks and Boubakary Soumare's respective futures are uncertain too. Meanwhile Jordan Ayew has left the door open to a move, in spite of being content to remain a Fox too.

Finally, Vardy has of course left. Bilal El Khannouss is a target.
And fellow centre forward Patson Daka may also exit Leicester. This leaves City's (preseason at least) line up possibly including a few youngsters:

Stolarczyk; James Justin, Ben Nelson, Caleb Okoli, Woyo Coulibaly; Sammy Braybrooke, Michael Golding; Stephy Mavididi, Jeremy Monga, Abdul Fatawu; Jake Evans.
