There is massive Leicester City news today. First of all, Bilal El Khannouss will possibly have to stay at the King Power now. Let's hope we don't inherited an Alexander Isak-style situation as the scenario is explained. Meanwhile, and even more dramatically, LCFC are said to have satisfied Profit and Sustainability Rules.

The situations

We have huge Leicester City transfer news for the Blue Army on this Wednesday (August 27) morning. And you don't have to worry because the update emerged from a very reliable source for Foxes information (Rob Dorsett). So, what's the score? Basically, star player Bilal El Khannouss has essentially been up for sale over the summer. The previously, drastically unorganised King Power club had to satisfy Profit and Sustainability measures.

Therefore assets such as standout goalkeeper Mads Hermansen, midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, defender James Justin and winger Kasey McAteer were sold. Having their wages off the book helped balance City too. Yet El Khannouss may now be staying on Filbert Way after the latest revelation; the main potential suitor dropped out of the race to sign the Morocco international. But the playmaker could still be an LCFC player this year, with bosses now increasing his value. Why the significant developments? While PSR parameters are now supposedly adhered to.

What does all this mean going forward at Leicester City?

Firstly, I don't consider El Khannouss a demonstrative and immature footballer like ex-Fox Riyad Mahrez. I can't see the 21-year-old throwing his toys out of the pram, so to speak. Evidently Crystal Palace aren't playing ball! Although Tottenham Hotspur may do so.

What's more likely is the attacking midfielder remaining at Leicester and working hard. Along with hopefully aiding the push for promotion back to the Premier League. He could then knock on the appropriate department's door again as the campaign ends.

With respect to PSRs, I don't expect the City hierarchy to splash the cash. They had lessons to learn. I do, though, predict a striker signing. The quality and experience of that hypothetical addition is up for debate.
