We have some Black Friday content for you on this beautiful Sunday afternoon in the East Midlands. We currently sit between that commercial festival and the next opportunity for some Xmas bargains: Cyber Monday. If you'd like to see our recommendations for the best deals, newest products and family friendly Christmas gift ideas from Leicester City's official website, lcfc.com, please click this link.
However, that is not the focus of this particular piece. Here we are going through the drastically overrated Foxes squad at large in order to designate some undesirable players. While doing so, we shall imagine if it were January and the transfer market was open to rid ourselves of a few unwanted footballers. I'm sure I would be blessed with nominations far and wide if I opened up the discussion as a poll for the Blue Army.
Plenty of LCFC's personnel would be on the list after a dreadful start to the 2025/26 English Football League Championship season overall. Although, I'm going to name a trio of disappointing City stars who would be among the first group in line for a Black Friday clearance.
So here are my nominations for the athletes who would be represented in a heartbeat during a hypothetical or figurative Leicester flash sale. And trust me - supporters will probably agree with the selections.
Three players Leicester City would sell without blinking
Oliver Skipp
Let's start with Skipp. His fee was at least £20million - just imagine what the East Midlanders could do with that in the New Year or the summer!
Victor Kristiansen
The £17m paid for the Dane is also hard to swallow. Having a fresh left back in place would be ideal. Rumours place the defender's status in jeopardy.
Patson Daka
I actually like Daka, he's a likeable and happy fellow. Though I cannot really rate him even as a second division striker. And, as we all know, Leicester are desperate for a true hitman!
