Why the Leicester owner needed extra security at his own stadium

At the time of writing, Marti Cifuentes apparently still has a job at Leicester City Football Club. Although, the general consensus from the Blue Army support seems to be that the former Hammarby IF, AaB Fodbold, Sandefjord and Queens Park Rangers gaffer's status on Filbert Way is moribund. That is, dead or dying in managerial terms. Certainly those noisey fans amongst us on social media like myself are at the end of our collective tethers.

Though, as I say, Foxes chairman and owner Aiyawatt (Khun Top) Srivaddhanaprabha is yet to pull the trigger on Cifuentes' status, as it were. I imagine we can expect that (possibly popular) eventuality to occur forthwith, in their management or legal jargon. Meaning, the Catalan boss is likely to depart by Monday morning, if you want my forecast and opinion.

Nevertheless, almost the entire LCFC fan base is surely aware that Cifuentes never had a real chance to succeed because of Top and Jon Rudkin's (director of football) ineptitude. But we won't get into all that backstory again. These savvy supporters appear to know exactly what's going on at King Power Stadium! Let's hear the startling claims regarding City from Saturday's game - including word on the manager's tentative standing.

Beefed up security surrounds Leicester City chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha at his own King Power ground

Oh dear, oh dear. It's gone from bad to worse to disaster in LE2 for everyone associated with City.

Top, the owner, has had his own fall from grace as the LCFC supremo: winning the FA Cup and re-entering Europe, to financial problems here and abroad, successive relegations and an increasingly disenchanted Foxes faithful.

Defeat to Sheffield United may be the final straw for the head coach. Though patience is running thin with Top too. So much so that he was guarded by security more closely than usual inside his own complex on the day.

Leicester fans have grown deeply disillusioned with their team's plight"

Recent xenophobic and death threat chanting could be part of the reasoning here. I'm sure nobody would physically attack the man. The vast of us would find violence abhorrent.

May I also add that the Srivaddhanaprabha family continue to be reverred by most true supporters. Yet Top won't last unless improvements start - quickly!

However, us fans will make ourselves heard lawfully. By the way, I just checked again and Cifuentes is still employed!
