Hull City welcome Leicester City to MKM Stadium on Tuesday evening for the latest Championship fixture of the schedule. The Foxes drew their previous clash with Portsmouth on Filbert Way on Saturday night. The result left City's Blue Army fan base rather disappointed, as is totally understandable.

As a matter of fact, Foxes head coach Marti Cifuentes was one of the most upset people due to the performance and outcome. He'd finally returned the side to winning ways before the most recent contest. Prior to that, LCFC produced a kind of unacceptable succession of four draws.

However, writers, pundits and bloggers such as myself appear to be backing the former Queens Park Rangers gaffer at King Power Stadium - for now, at least. I do admire Cifuentes and believe he has a difficult task on his hands. Any manager's job is complicated or compromised if he is devoid of a striker who can regularly net for the team.

Anyway, today we look ahead to the Hull contest; with injury news and information at the forefront of the discussion. An injury update emanating from the Tigers camp is unfortunate for the home club, yet a definite bonus for the away outfit. What is Leicester's boost ahead of the next match, as the East Midlanders tend to two attackers?

City have three concerns at the moment: winger/No.10 Bobby De Cordova-Reid, wideman Stephy Mavididi, as well as long-term absentee Harry Souttar. Souttar isn't available for the Hull trip. The forward pair are said to be major doubts for Cifuentes before kick-off.

In addition to City's issues, the Yorkshire side have problems of their own. Boisterous and dangerous striker Oli McBurnie may also be unavailable.

"Hull City striker Oli McBurnie may not be risked against Leicester City after picking up a knock against Birmingham City."

In my opinion, McBurnie would have been a real handful for LCFC's defence. Although we wish no ill, his absence is promising.
