Leicester City were not at their best whilst competing in Wales on Tuesday night. A mediocre Wrexham outfit dominated pretty much all the significant statistical areas; the home side seemed to have three points in the bag for half an hour. In the meantime, Marti Cifuentes' men gave an account of themselves that can only be described as unimaginative, and possibly uncommitted in certain instances.

That's right, members of LCFC's Blue Army fan base are rightfully accusing some of the XI of not being fully invested in the King Power cause. Considering their wages, and paying spectators - the majority of the City side should be ashamed of themselves. Following the final whistle at Racecourse Ground, a small minority of the Leicester faithful who had travelled to the principality shouted abuse and insults at the team.

While City's pampered stars deserve heavy criticism for their performances, attacking them verbally in this way is offensive and won't help matters at all. It could make it worse: a chasm already exists between the support and the organisation. Cifuentes was also targeted for his lacklustre, incorrect match tactics and inactivity in the face of in-game problems.

You could see the pressure and disconnect in the totally muted celebrations after Jannik Vestergaard's equaliser versus the Red Dragons. The squad, as with fans, are now likely concerned with the fitness of teammates as well as unsatisfactory displays. To that end, what was said about Jordan James and Oliver Skipp after the contest?

"City didn’t seem pleased to score. Vestergaard himself looked drained of any happiness. Watch any City player as the ball hits the net and it’s difficult to spot even a hint of a smile"
