This is a message to the players of Leicester City Football Club: you are letting the fans down! They need passion and dedication - regardless of points. The displays that have been turned in which you call acceptable are, in fact, unacceptable. With a Profit and Sustainability punishment likely in the form of a points penalty impending- you must turn this season around. Should you fail to do so - the East Midlands outfit could well be relegated this term! Let that sink in; does a year in English Football League Two sound good? Undoubtedly not!

Why the rant? Well, the Foxes ventured to Wales for another crucial Championship clash on Tuesday evening. And the performance was almost an unmitigated disaster: managerial game plan, style, technique, effort, commitment, ideas, you name it - it was bad! If not for auxiliary centre forward Jannik Vestergaard of all people (yes, that's right!) bailing City out in injury time after the original 90 minutes were up, the fixture would have represented the worst showing of the campaign. Although, many members of LCFC's Blue Army fan base still consider it thus. So which stars underperformed?

Leicester City's best player, a winger, the striker and captain are arraigned in Leicester Mercury's Player Ratings vs Wrexham in Wales

While the odd City footballer can hold his head up (not high), many other players are actually letting the side down at the moment. Though the outlet did name Oliver Skipp the Player of the Match for the first half; prior to his withdrawal due to a head injury.

Elsewhere it was generally poor all-over. But Jordan Blackwell's worst ratings were saved for City standout Jordan James (4); partially because of inactivity being injured. While No.10 Bobby De Cordova-Reid and wideman Abdul Fatawu were respectively rated at '4' too.

"Jordan James: Went down early with the injury that would eventually force him off, and he didn’t make an impact for the period he did stay on, giving the ball away a couple of times too. 4"

Meanwhile striker Jordan Ayew was handed the exact same score - quelle surprise! So too was substitute skipper Ricardo Pereira; who looks tentative right now.
