Unfortunately for the Leeds United fan base, they are probably going to be proven wrong after making a complete gamble of a signing that could massively backfire. Fans of the famous Yorkshire team are still totally in the dark, in spite of all the available evidence and expert opinion, about their new defender. Evidently this is due to the player in question having plenty of 'experience' - even though much of that was as a failing Premier League full back.
In addition to that worrying and huge factor, the one-time England international showed minimal expertise for the Foxes, his former club, over a three year period when the player in question was inexplicably kept in the starting lineup by multiple failed Leicester City managers. Before that, he was exceptional, to be fair. Obviously the fact that the footballer played for the Three Lions and was admired by steady and retiring then-head coach Gareth Southgate seems to hold unnecessary weight in footballing circles.
Therefore, if I were a Leeds supporter who was uninformed on other clubs' underperforming professionals (heaven forbid) - I would likely consider this a promising and potentially solid acquisition too. Naturally, my forecast could also be proven incorrect eventually. Yet I am going by what I've seen, the statistics and Leicester's defensive plight when the latest Peacock was a Fox.
Therefore United's faithful should prepare themselves for disappointment regarding a new signing, as a totally wild claim is simultaneously made by Football League World.
Leeds United fans still in dark over new Leicester City signing James Justin amid wild claim
After bearing witness to James Justin's inept and borderline contemptible defending for City, especially in 2024/25, I would imagine he will struggle at Leeds. The suggestion that James might perhaps get back into the England squad is fanciful at best!
"If he can get regular game-time at Leeds, he could even find himself back in the reckoning for a place in the England squad."FLW
And the stick their support will give Justin when he becomes a shrinking violet will be much worse than at King Power Stadium. If I was asked which Leicester player was at fault for the most goals last season by a court of law, I would point them to this video:
👉 I'm seeing some #Leicester City fans lamenting the sale of James Justin. He was one of the worst players last season. It's a good thing we're getting something for him and he's not leaving for free next summer.#LCFC #leicestercity #transfers #Cifuentes #martà #leeds #LUFC https://t.co/5PgfUmSq5I pic.twitter.com/d82aiyNSN4
