On Saturday lunchtime, Leicester City played host to fairly local rivals Coventry City at King Power Stadium. The Championship fixture was, yet again, one of the early kick-offs this weekend. Hopefully the East Midlands side won't have to play too many more of those, because you can't help feeling that many of these midday-ish starts end in anticlimax.

Teams in this division, as well as the Premier League, often produce far less than average performances if playing in the first games of whichever schedule. Nevertheless, LCFC will continue to battle on to evade tier two regardless. So, even though we had no goals to celebrate or commiserate over, let's discuss the squad's display as City draw nil-nil with the Sky Blues. Here are your Foxes winners & losers.

Leicester City 0-0 Coventry: stats

First of all, the home side had three times as many shots on target. The hosts also dominated possession on Filbert Way.

The Foxes managed to more impressively stop the danger from opposition set-pieces and corners too. All in all, it was Cifuentes' men who should have taken all points, if either team were to win.

Overall, I would designate opposing goalkeeper Carl Rushworth as the Player of the Match. This illustrates just how influential LCFC were on the day.

Though we are not really concerned with the visitors, are we?! So which Foxes stood out. For that we consult Leicester Mercury for their Player Ratings.

Writer Josh Holland didn't seem to really select anybody as his City Man of the Match. Few stood out in LE2.

However, Leicester fans will be pleased to hear that winger Stephy Mavididi is getting back to form. Although he was only given a six rating.

Only substitute Hamza Choudhury scored less at five. Abdul Fatawu, Harry Winks and Jordan James all respectively received fives.
