On this occasion (Thursday, November 20), I would like to talk about two different Leicester City professionals. One is a Jamaica National Team representative; making guessing easy to decipher for those of you cunning Foxes. Meanwhile, the other Fox is more of a young and up-and-coming baller at King Power Stadium. Both players may now potentially become increasingly prominent among Marti Cifuentes' LCFC matchday squads.

First of all, I am going to discuss Bobby De Cordova-Reid with you. This includes explaining why he is underrated in spite of not setting the world alight. In addition to that, I will detail why the former Fulham man is likely to be involved from the start of games with City, at least for now.

Secondly, we will chat about Silko Thomas. The wingman has caught the eye of Cifuentes in the time the ex-Queens Park Rangers head coach has been on Filbert Way. Now could be an opportunity for the 21-year-old to stake a claim and be utilised, developed and to make his name in Leicestershire. Allow me to explain.

Leicester City's Bobby De Cordova-Reid should secure No.10 role

Why do I consider De Cordova-Reid generally underhyped as footballers go? Well, he's actually been affored very few minutes overall at LCFC, yet he's done the business in quite a few delicate instances.

The composure the Jamaican offers in high pressure situations has gone under the radar. He possesses technical ability and other assets making him a great option centrally in Aaron Ramsey's absence. Ex-Leicester forward Steve Howard agrees:

"He's an experienced lad, talks really well, you need people like that in your side when you're going through your barren spells and when your confidence is a bit low," Howard told BBC Radio Leicester.

"He's now given Cifuentes a bit of headache, which is great.

"He's now thinking 'well, I've produced for 15 to 20 minutes like you've asked me to. I've scored a goal, the team needs to score goals because it's obviously struggling in that department. Put me on and I'll show you what to do'."

Possible promotion for Foxes winger Silko Thomas

Thomas has been on the Leicester periphery for some time now. But I envision a chance to shine under Cifuentes. And I'm not the only one.

Leicester Mercury writer Jordan Blackwell also expects S. Thomas to make his 'breakthrough' at any moment. The former suggests that injuries within the side should offer an opportunity from the bench:

"City are set to be without Victor Kristiansen, Aaron Ramsey, Ben Nelson and Harry Souttar when they take on high-flying Stoke this weekend. It means there will be a gap for at least one young player in Marti Cifuentes’ squad at the King Power Stadium, with winger Silko Thomas the frontrunner to take it."
