Marti Cifuentes' start at Leicester City Football Club has been totally and utterly inconsistent for form. Although, the Catalan gaffer is consistent in his methods and overall plan for the East Midlands outfit. He wishes to get the side out of the mess that the higher ups have got them into. In addition to sending his team back to the glory of Premier League football.

Regardless of the awkward beginning at King Power Stadium (as I say, I think the former Queens Park Rangers man inherited many problems on Filbert Way which he has even started to overcome), quite a few fans appear to like Cifuentes. I am not averse to the 43-year-old either: much of his managerial style is progressive and forward-thinking.

It seems as though the LCFC hierarchy (without us knowing the true, current financial and restrictive situations) seem to be content with Cifuentes. Meanwhile the playing squad also seemingly admire the head coach and feel comfortable and happy while in his company. They have said as much in the odd interview.

Yet it would also be interesting to learn what ex-Foxes, certainly significant retired professionals, think of the gaffer. Enter former fan favourite, Marc Albrighton.

Leicester City manager Marti Cifuentes is rated by Premier League title-winner and one-time Fox Marc Albrighton

Albrighton is another well-liked athlete linked with the Foxes. A truly humble, elite footballer who appreciated his vocation and the faithful. Refreshing. The former winger is a well-spoken and decent interviewee as well.

And Albrighton was asked about what he thought of the latest City boss's appointment in the summer. Not to mention how he believes the side is progressing this season.

The 36-year-old actually backed Cifuentes in his Leicester capacity. Additionally, Albrighton rightly claims it hasn't been an easy ride for 'top coach' Cifuentes:

"I like Cifuentes, he has shown he is a top coach and we now need all the players to come together to pull in the right direction to get a good run of form together. Recruitment is now very important to add players who want to get to the Premier League and bring up the levels."
