However, Steve Cooper is beginning to win over fans a lot more in recent weeks. Certainly, his recent comments about Leicester legend Jamie Vardy will bring him closer to the fanbase.

Speaking to the media after Jamie Vardy scored a penalty, Steve Cooper said it's been an absolute pleasure to work with the striker. In fact, Vardy is everything Cooper imagined and more.

In his own words, Cooper said: “If I could bottle what he’s got, I’d be extremely rich, I promise you. We’re really enjoying working with him, working together with his programme and respecting where he’s at. He just seems really hungry."

Then, Cooper added: “We’ve still got the guy who can score the goals. I can’t speak highly enough of him. And it’s just great to see how enthusiastic he still is. I’ve just seen it for years on the TV. But we really enjoy working with him. He’s a brilliant role model."

Leicester City has not created too many chances this season. However, it is not creating chances which wins you games, it's finishing chances.

Jamie Vardy is the epitome of this. He has already scored three Premier League goals this season, despite not being fed as many opportunities as he was in other Premier League seasons.

Nobody needs reminding of how great Jamie Vardy is. While he might have lost a yard of pace with his age, he is still one of the best strikers in the Premier League.

Jamie Vardy is a true hard worker. He is never the type to throw his toys out of the pram and instead, he will work tirelessly to change his side's fortunes. This is why Leicester have become the club they are now, with him leading the line.
