Talks begin over potential Vardy transfer due to excessively high wages

If we trust a report coming from Fichajes, talks have supposedly opened regarding a Leicester City superstar's potential exit from King Power Stadium. Jamie Vardy, the infamous Foxes striker, could apparently be on the move in January. Or, what is more likely is that the greatest LCFC player of all time may perhaps be angling for a lucrative summer move away from Leicestershire, his home for many years of a glittering career.

News that there's a chance the veteran hitman could depart and play for another side will undoubtedly shock the Blue Army. However, a move away from Leicester with an 'exorbitant' contract would make more sense with retirement impending. So just what will these so-called 'excessively high wages' amount to if the legend of the east Midlands team does leave? Is this rumour realistic or probably a hoax of some description? Neymar is thought to earn $80 million at Al Hilal - so, who knows?!

Jamie Vardy's still got it

With three goals in his first eight Premier League matches of an ultimately difficult season in a somewhat struggling squad, Vardy has proven that he still has it. The former England international regularly shows he possesses the ability, drive and capacity to disrupt and dent any English top-flight defence.

LCFC are lucky to have the ageless 37-year-old; they always have been! Vardy is, and has been, the talisman on Filbert Way for well over a decade at this stage. The Leicester fans would absolutely love to have their favourite play on forever.

But, alas, that scenario clearly won't transpire because every sportsperson retires at some point. Yet the Foxes faithful would also wish for their No.9 to finish up as a Fox. It would be harder to understand him switching to some clubs than others, of course.

A hypothetical move for Vardy to Nottingham Forest, Aston villa or Derby County, for example, would not be greatly received by Leicester's support. But those figurative sequence of events wouldn't occur anyway, so it is barely worth saying. He won't switch alliance to any EPL or Championship side, in my opinion.

What could feasibly happen, though unforeseeable, is Vardy signing somewhere abroad. Obviously big money shall be on the table from places such as Saudi Arabia or even the Major League Soccer division in the United States.

Is the Middle East more probable? I imagine so, unfortunately for City. The Vardys are businesspeople and may therefore be considering sporting retirement prudence. So, what's the word?:

"Jamie Vardy 'in talks' over shock move away from Leicester as 'exorbitant' contract offer revealed

Despite being a key part of Steve Cooper’s squad at the King Power Stadium, Vardy has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.

Earlier in the month, it was reported that Vardy and his wife, Becky, took a secret flight to Bahrain as rumours over a move to Saudi Arabia refused to go away.

Now, it has been claimed that Vardy has been offered a lucrative deal to sign for either the Saudi Professional League or the Qatari Stars League.

As reported by Spanish news outlet Fichajes, Vardy will have a decision to make come the end of the season, either to retire or move to the Middle East.

It has been suggested that Vardy was previously in talks with a move to the Middle East but wanted to continue to play in the Premier League.

However, he is said to be back in talks after several teams offered exorbitant figures for his signature."
