Leicester City fans appear to want to keep Australia World Cup star Harry Souttar. Yet the Foxes must raise cash with few players able to generate as high a fee as the centre-back might perhaps.
So what is being said, and is the big man likely to get his move? Souttar's career had partially taken off before joining LCFC.
The Aussie began his professional journey in Scotland with Dundee United before crossing the border to join Stoke City in 2016. Loan spells at Ross County and Fleetwood Town helped him develop, eventually establishing him as a commanding presence in the Championship.
The central defender was a very solid Leicester signing on paper, but had a horrid time on Filbert Way, mainly due to significant injury. He was also loaned out when City deemed him surplus to requirements, although, ironically, the Leicestershire outfit definitely now need competent assets such as Souttar to stay and help repair their self-inflicted wounds and elevate a lesser footballing status.
Why do some Foxes fans desire the 27-year-old to remain at King Power Stadium? His height, composure and experience on the international stage provide a defensive security that the squad has often lacked during their recent instability and double demotions.
Nevertheless, Souttar will consider himself a top flight baller so he could be a very impressive, even key in a division like England's third tier. So that is one reason why the player could, understandably, demand a transfer away from Leicestershire to continue reigniting his career.
But which sides are supposedly interested in Souttar? Stoke City, where the six-foot-seven giant previously played, are one team in that regard, and Sheffield United, a club he joined on loan prior, are another in the mix.
Price revealed for Leicester City's Harry Souttar
Yet it is Welsh club Wrexham who are supposedly ready to spend an eye-opening amount on the centre back. According to a claim doing the rounds, the Red Dragons would like Souttar for another run at promotion.
And, sadly for Foxes fans, he is apparently open to that move. Leicester must sell certain ballers; the £15 million touted here would be an offer they couldn't afford to refuse.
"Souttar, 27, is understood to be open to joining the Welsh club"
And Daily Mail, where the story originated, suggest that Souttar, who they describe as the "Socceroos gun", could soon link up with "Hollywood superstar" Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. The Australian, who is vice-captain for his country, would add hypothetical "experience and quality to Phil Parkinson's defence". The Fox and his National Team teammates face Egypt on Friday.
