I know the Leicester City players and the management were not paid before Christmas in a shocking yet predictable turn of events at King Power Stadium. However, the Foxes could at least have turned up, as they say, for their disastrous fixture against Queens Park Rangers. The East Midlands team were 4-0 down at half-time in the English capital as the Football League Championship clash developed.

Oh I nearly forgot, LCFC head coach Marti Cifuentes previously managed the Shepherd's Bush outfit in West London. Though he left Loftus Road after being placed on so-called 'gardening leave'. This occurred because the Catalan was deemed a persona non grata (a Latin term for an unwelcome individual) by the Hoops' hierarchy in his previous position.

This transpires when somebody employed is not trusted within an organisation. For example, trust evaporates regarding management. Not to mention concerning keeping secrets even, like safeguarding crucial club information. Cifuentes was said to be exploring the prospect of joining other sides whilst still employed at QPR. A suggestion which casts obvious doubt over his character in the game.

Therefore the current City manager (although probably not for long, unless chairman Aiyawatt "khun Top" Srivaddhanaprabha is truly broke) has former negative happenings attributed to him. Following the eventual 4-1 defeat to Rangers, maybe Leicester should skip the 'gardening' scenario and just go straight for the inevitable sacking!

The Foxes' Blue Army fan base is certainly fed up with the 43-year-old from what I have seen in general:

The Leicester City faithful are at the end of their patience with Marti Cifuentes as Queens Park Rangers outrage seemingly the final straw

First of all, fans are now expecting a dismissal. Yet, LCFC funds may mean Cifuentes has to stay indefinitely. Irrespective, let's have a quick look at some of the City supporter reactions following loss to QPR:
