Up-and-coming Foxes winger Jeremy Monga is one of the best prospects in world football at the moment. Astonishingly, the Coventry-born starlet made his Premier League debut at the ridiculously young age 15. Only similarly youthful Arsenal attacker Ethan Nwaneri was a younger debutant in the English top flight. Though Monga is also a record-breaker in his own right: he is the Football League Championship's youngest-ever goalscorer.
All of these factors have contributed to the latter supposedly being eyed up by a plethora of extremely well-known clubs. As a matter of fact, every major EPL and LaLiga side in Spain are said to be after the Monga transfer. The list is a veritable who's who of world football. Even the two biggest Ligue 1 and Bundesliga teams are apparently after the thrillingly gifted Fox: Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.
Along with those two juggernauts of European sport, the significant Borussia Dortmund of Germany are interested. Meanwhile Serie A giants Juventus are another on the watch list. Though I would suspect that it is outfits in England who Leicester's Blue Army fan base should be most worried about. Naturally, LCFC supporters don't want one of their prize assets to be stolen away by a 'bigger' club.
Although, if Monga doesn't agree to his reported 'automatic professional deal' which is on the table for July, City bosses might perhaps have no choice. So what's the latest here?
Tottenham Hotspur could be left with egg on their faces just as they in Eberechi Eze situation amid admiration of Leicester City star Jeremy Monga
Spurs are purported to be admirers of Monga as well. Yet they are joined by pretty much anyone who is anyone in the Prem.
"We can reveal that Tottenham have been pushing very strongly in recent weeks, but Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United have all laid out their plans to the Coventry-born star.TEAMtalk
As it stands, we are told that he will likely make his final decision in early 2026.
We can confirm that Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have all had conversations with his team. Although, he would have to wait until 2027 in theory to leave England, should that be the path he wants to take."
Put yourself in the forward's shoes: would you sign for Tottenham if Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and even Newcastle United were knocking on your door?!
