Leicester fans may have seen one of their favourites play his last match

Judging by the nature of increasing transfer rumours concerning one standout Leicester City player, the Blue Army fan base will have to prepare themselves for impending disappointment. Although, the majority of Foxes supporters already knew that one or two, or more, of their superior footballers would probably be sold this summer.

And you can chiefly thank LCFC chairman Aiyawatt 'Khun Top' Srivaddhanaprabha for the absolute contemporary mess City are in. His mishandling of The King Power International Group has massively affected the East Midlands outfit over the previous couple of years. Top also failed to sack and replace Jon Rudkin, the club's director of football, with someone preferable. And CEO Susan Whelen has somehow hung onto her position through turmoil of the trio's own making too.

Financial issues, negligence, incompetence and ramifications of blatant rule breaking and ultimately relegation have seen the Leicester squad's quality drastically diminish over the past few seasons. All this means the Filbert Way team will now lose talent! Have Leicester fans seen one star man play for the last time in Saturday's friendly versus Oud-Heverlee Leuven? Let's see whats being speculated.

Bilal El Khannouss might have played last Foxes fixture

At times during a lacklustre and embarrassing campaign for City, El Khannouss really stood out. The Morocco international wasn't always on top form or showing his Premier League class, but glistening moments showcased his impressive ability.

And the 21-year-old certainly is good enough to stay in England's top tier. In fact, he could even have a chance to impress at a big six side. Though I'd argue that particular opportunity is premature. If he can show more consistency for a mid-table EPL club next year - then anything is possible!

Obviously we'd love the playmaker to remain a Fox, but that scenario is unlikely. Leicester also require funds; at least two organisations are keen:
