Leicester fans won't like manager expected to succeed Rowett

Rowett ultimately failed to be the firefighter the Blue Army were promised. Although, Leicester City supporters have been told many untruths in recent years by chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, so these developments are in keeping with a rotten club from "Top" to bottom!

This outlet actually gave the owner partial credit for nervously approaching a disenchanted group of LCFC fans immediately after relegation; albeit security was abundant. Evidently further partial credit will be earned if he dismisses Gary Rowett as soon as this unfathomably bad season ends.

Rowett is, generally, a likeable chap. Though he was totally ineffective, even counterproductive as the Foxes head coach (a flattering name for these bog-standard coaches!). Top has, indeed, supposedly decided that the old-fashioned Rowett will not be offered a deal extension.

Which manager will succeed Gary Rowett at Leicester City?

Unfortunately, the name being mentioned with replacing the former LCFC player for the following campaign shall not please the majority of the City faithful. While Russell Martin did build from the ground up at Southampton, the foundation came tumbling down in the Premier League amidst a stubborn, Brendan Rodgers-esque backdrop.

"And it's former Rangers and Southampton manager Russell Martin who leads the way in the betting."

The King Power hierarchy remains enamored with a specific brand of aesthetic paralysis:possession for possession's sake, regardless of the impending League One reality. Martin's tactical dogmatism, which saw his high-wire act fray into a catastrophic descent on the South Coast and later at Rangers in Scotland, suggests a manager more committed to the purity of his philosophy than the pragmatism of a points tally.

For a fan base already suffocating under the weight of institutional incompetence, the prospect of another ideological dreamer is astounding. If Srivaddhanaprabha believes Martin is the architect to steady this crumbling edifice, he has fundamentally misread the blueprint of a club in terminal decline. The East Midlands side require real revolution, not a stylistic recycling of past failures.
