Leicester City's latest loss moved the East Midlands club from unacceptable territory to an unforgiveable landmark! Even though Gary Rowett, the most recently appointed, under-qualified manager, inherited an almost totally rotten roster, he has simply not done enough to preserve his employment.

This weekend's defeat to an indifferent Swansea City team at King Power Stadium serves as the final, agonising indignity the Blue Army must endure this season. Nothing else really matters! The Foxes appear utterly spent; no sane member of the LCFC fanbase retains any hope whatsoever for a miraculous escape.

To descend into the abyss with such a pathetic whimper is, quite frankly, embarrassing. The air around Filbert Way is thick with the scent of impending relegation.

Leicester City to sack another gaffer?

Speculation regarding Rowett’s position reached fever pitch following a social media dispatch from Indykaila; an infamous digital oracle within the footballing world. For the uninitiated, the account is a notorious 'ITK' (In The Know) entity, blending genuine insider whispers with the chaotic energy of transfer deadline day theatrics to command a massive, often skeptical, following.

Their latest "exclusive" suggests that the Leicester board is poised to strike the metaphorical guillotine. However, despite these sources possessing undeniable knowledge, dismissing Rowett at this juncture defies all financial and sporting logic. With the season gasping its final breaths, a managerial change is a costly vanity project.

Yet, in the modern history of this club, being nonsensical is often a prerequisite for action. One expects Leicester chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha and chief football officer Jon Rudkin to proceed with the firing regardless of its inherent futility.

In actuality, preparing for the grim realities of League One is now the final act of this tragicomedy. That is irrespective of who occupies the dugout during the funeral march.
