Today (Friday), Leicester City Football Club finally sacked team manager Ruud van Nistelrooy. The Dutchman was hanging on by a thread at King Power Stadium, it is said. Negligence appears to be only the beginning of mounting difficulties - malpractice might be at the heart of Filbert Way misadventure.

Apparently van Nistelrooy was only even in place due to City's unreal financial situation and law breaking. Quite a few serious LCFC fans are now calling for chairman Aiyawatt 'Khun Top' Srivaddhanaprabha to sell the club.

In other words, van Nistelrooy would have been dismissed prior if the Foxes ownership had the money, or if the East Midlands side were not dodging punishments from the Premier League and the English Football League. Oh dear. What a mess; as I stated before all of the pecuniary problems were revealed and analysed by media.

You'd have to go back to Gary Lineker's timely bailout consortium for a worse contemporary example in my opinion. Therefore good news is desperately required at the King Power, arguably more than ever in the modern era. And the Leicestershire outfit might perhaps reportedly be in luck because brilliant point deductions news could be on the way.

Leicester may have received a much-needed reprieve from something negative and potentially season-damaging hanging over them

Being without a manager with just over a month to go before a challenging Championship campaign starts is not an ideal position for any side to be in. With Leicester's recent record, it is particularly ominous.

Having 12 points knocked off, or beginning with that figure as a deficit, could adversely define the entire season. So what's the latest with respect to apparently looming punitive measures?

"Football Insider revealed on 28 May Leicester are likely to be close to a PSR breach for the latest campaign.

Although pushing the decision to sack Van Nistelrooy back into the new accounting period could just be a move to reduce their losses, it may be a deciding factor in helping the club avoid another spending breach."

As you can see above, Football Insider have commented on the situation. They feel City may have just about avoided Profit and Sustainability punishment by pushing back van Nistelrooy's departure.
