All the Leicester City players that were out on international duty with their respective nations will now have hurriedly returned back to the King Power.
13 Foxes players in total were called up to their nations, which would have been a welcome respite for some, away from the challenges of trying to stay afloat in the demanding Championship.
In particular, Abdul Fatawu enjoyed an extremely memorable break, as he powered home a fiercely taken strike against Germany, to send Ghana fans watching on into momentary raptures.
Jordan Ayew didn't explode into life, though, as another Leicester face playing for Ghana, as the 34-year-old hit just one shot at the German net.
Ghana did lose 2-1 in the end, which resulted in national team manager Otto Addo being sacked after just 72 days in charge, but it would have still been a proud personal moment for the Foxes number seven, who has now been capped for the Black Stars at a senior level 27 times.
To add context, Gary Rowett has been in charge of the relegation candidates for 42 days so far, with only one win secured.
Thankfully, the powers that be at the King Power are exercising patience and not following suit with Ghana's knee-jerk approach, with some positive signs on the pitch that Rowett can turn around the sinking ship.
Only two losses have been tallied up, so he's certainly made the Foxes far harder to beat and pummel into submission.
But, the attacking displays have to improve, with only seven goals scored across his seven clashes at the helm.
This is where Fatawu could come into his own, with this sublime Ghana goal against Germany spurring him on to find a second wind at Leicester, potentially, before he possibly moves on from Leicestershire altogether, in the summer.
Rowett must get more out of Fatawu while he can
It's expected at this point that Fatawu will move on from Leicester this summer, even if survival is dramatically secured.
Indeed, rumours are circulating that the 24-year-old is back on the radar of Premier League sides, with Sunderland noted as being back in for the agile trickster.
He might have suffered from several off-performances this season, with only two goals picked up in the Championship across his last eight league appearances, as the Foxes have been engulfed in crisis, but when he's at his best, he could shine in the Premier League.
After all, his 36 goal contributions and counting in the second tier speak for themselves, really, with 16 of those coming this season, even in a campaign that has been fraught with difficulties.
Rowett must get more out of Fatawu while he can, to guide Leicester away from the shock of back-to-back relegations, with his performance in the 0-0 draw against Watford - just before the break commenced - standing out.
Amassing five key passes, the Ghanaian terrorised the Hornets all match long, with the final end product just lacking.
Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday could be about to feel Fatawu's reinvigorated wrath, across a pivotal Easter Weekend in the Foxes' season, with the might of Germany falling victim to his venomous finishing ability.
If he can turn on the style against Julian Nagelsmann's side, he surely wouldn't feel too weighed down by being the weapon Rowett depends on, to enable Leicester to survive.
