A somewhat fringe Leicester City player could be getting some good news from new Foxes boss Marti Cifuentes. The Fox in question is now expected to be a key part of the XI. That's if one of his teammates is ultimately sold. But I have seen many LCFC fans imply on social media that they want him sold.

Abundance

Many transfers are forecasted at Leicester during the current offseason. However, the Foxes are moving typically slowly (some hierarchical changes are way past due on Filbert Way!) in the transfer market. Maybe that is because Marti Cifuentes has only recently taken charge of City. Though the more likely reasons for this ill-advised and potentially damaging inactivity are probably something else. Profit and Sustainability, as well as King Power's reported financial difficulties, are ny guess.

FoL is currently unsure when signings will occur - if any incomings at King Power Stadium actually transpire! Although, it is likely LCFC require funds, as previously stated. So therefore we can expect a few significant outgoings from the squad. As ever, the stars of Leicester are unfortunately at risk of being used as expendable assets.

But which area, or areas, can City call upon in order to deepen their pockets? And then subsequently spend proceeds on questionable signings! Well, one Foxes department in particular is very well-stocked with what I would label pretty talented footballers. Maybe a central midfielder will be sacrificed so the Leicestershire outfit can sign, say, a new and much-needed striker. This hypothetical departure will mean a place is up for grabs.

Evidently a Fox whom many fans wanted to sell could now become a key figure in Cifuentes' starting lineup

Oliver Skipp hasn't been too popular with managers or supporters at City. Though his quality is undoubted, he has a host of talent in front of him.

Skipp also appeared shaky in games at times. But the former Tottenham Hotspur man might perhaps have an upcoming u-turn:

"Given the doubts around the futures of City’s other midfielders, it’s expected Skipp will be a key player this campaign"
