1.  Johnny Duncan

Interesting fact: Johnny’s period as a player for the Foxes ended abruptly in 1930 as a result of a dispute with the club who refused his request to be allowed to run a pub (the Turk’s Head opposite the prison on Welford Road) whilst continuing to play. He opted to leave Filbert Street to continue running the pub. It was demolished in 1971 to make way for a hospital car park.

Interesting fact: During Vardy's time with Stocksbridge Steel in Yorkshire, Jamie was convicted of assault (for, he says, defending a deaf friend who was being targeted by a group of yobs). Jamie was compelled, for six months, to wear an electronic tag to enforce a night-time curfew. This meant that, after an hour or so of night matches, he had to be substituted in order to be home in time.
