Leicester City Football Club are said to be set to announce the replacement signing of almost certainly exiting attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss. Although the former Genk playmakers is yet to formerly leave, it is unlikely that he will now stay following rumours of his immaturity. Foxes manager Marti Cifuentes and potential the LCFC powers-that-be probably wouldn't wish to keep any player, star or otherwise, after they push to leave. This type of unnecessarily disruptive behaviour can, of course, cause have a rather negative effect on the squad at large.

However, the situation is obviously as simple as I am making it appear. First of all, City must replace one of their most talented ballers in reported troublemaker El Khannouss. Yet it seems as though the King Power team's recruitment department and Cifuentes may have perhaps identified the man they want to succeed the Morocco international. Though, and I must be honest here, the apparent successor doesn't quite have the ability or determination to match the Premier League pedigree of El Khannouss. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong going forward - because that scenario will be best for LCFC. Nevertheless, let's discuss the situation.

We are hearing that Leicester City are set to announce the departure of Bilal El Khannouss from the club

The Blue Army is anticipating El Khannouss' exit on Monday afternoon. Although hope comes in the form of a possible replacement Foxes signing as well.

Nonetheless, the 21-year-old didn't get the marquee transfer he demanded. He's currently undergoing a medical with German outfit VfB Stuttgart for approximately £23.5 million.

Aaron Ramsey incoming?

Thankfully City have apparent cover for the exiting Moroccan with a Riyad Mahrez temperament. Burnley midfielder/winger Aaron Ramsey is the player in question.

The Clarets paid Aston Villa £12m for Ramsey's services back in 2023. City should now secure a season-long loan.
