It is said that Leicester City are resigned to losing one of the foremost Foxes talents. Bosses in the East Midlands are now preparing, or bracing themselves, for the sharks to feast on the choicest finds amongst their reportedly soon-to-be depleted roster.

However, it's not all doom and gloom on Filbert Way (don't quote me on that!), because the King Power club are set to make around £15m profit on the sale of one star player. That's if we can in fact trust the most recent media reporting on the subject. And bids for the Fox in question are supposedly imminent.

Leicester will now accept offers for this notable squad member, if any are forthcoming over the summer. A few Premier League outfits are meant to be interested in signing the Foxes asset for their teams. Some more standout than others. Here, Foxes of Leicester explain why the footballer is in demand. Why City have chosen to sell. And if the valuation is correct in our view.

Leicester City set to make almost £15million profit on Mads Hermansen with bids expected during offseason

Hermansen can generally hold his head high after a decent showing with LCFC last season. In a brutal campaign, he exhibited Premier League class, it must be said.

Though the Blue Army does not want to lose the goalkeeper, we understand the books and Profit and Sustainability must be balanced and satisfied. In order to reinvest or even stock the side, funds are required too.

"Mads Hermansen's transfer fee from Brondby to Leicester City was £6.5 million."

To be honest, Hermansen's £20m value is not really what a potentially prominent English top flight stopper is worth. For example, if City had survived and he played one more impressive season in the EPL - you could double that fee with Chelsea in the market. Although the current price is all that, say, West Ham United would pay.
