If you are a Leicester City fan, you've been accustomed to quite a lot of pain for almost a year now. It's been a struggle actually reporting on our beloved but failing Foxes. No manager. No signings. No sales. No loans. No money. Supposed incoming Profit and Sustainability problems, and even points deductions looming. What a mess! And this latest transfer update could potentially upset fans in the East Midlands as much as Rangers supporters up in Scotland! So what's the score?
The state of play
I'm going to attempt to be accurate and honest with you all, as I always strive to be regardless of criticism or detractors. LCFC is becoming so inept as an organisation ran by The King Power International Group, that the Blue Army expect to wake up to disaster after disaster every day at the moment!
However, the Foxes hierarchy may have just gotten one decision right after of hundreds of attempts to the contrary. As I previously stated (ranted), there isn't a head coach in place on Filbert Way.
This is, of course, rather worrying for those of us who follow and support the club passionately, emotionally and financially via spectating matches, buying merchandise and kit etcetera. Hopefully LCFC is not facing what Rangers Football Club experienced regarding administration and liquidation in 2012.
The Gers support certainly stuck by their cherished side when that occurred. I'd like to think the Foxes fan base would do the same. And the two sets of fans currently also share negative transfer news.
Newest Leicester City transfer update concerning Conor Coady will definitely upset Rangers fans
It appears that Coady's proposed move to Ibrox could be off. That's after the former Wolverhampton Wanderers man, slightly disrespectfully, teased the prospective transfer anywhere he could! Some Foxes viewed this with suspicion after he reportedly pushed to leave in January.
The Light Blues appeared to welcome Coady's possible arrival. Though City's potential new manager, Marti Cifuentes, may wish to retain the centre half:
"Daily Record journalist wonders whether the prospective new Foxes head coach may give the Championship outfit second thoughts about selling the Englishman.Ibrox News
Jackson revealed that the 32-year-old’s possible move to Ibrox is on standby right now, but Martin definitely wants him at the Glaswegian outfit."
